Oh, Tim !
those 2 'monkey king' folklore characters you made are brilliant!!
the monkey king's head is more often depicted without those opera-style face painting and your use of side burns really made up for the hair-circle around his eyes....very smart indeed !!!
have you ever tried snapping on a PM monkey's head before? (i dont know if its the right size since i dont have one) and for the head ring, perhaps the new egyptian 'cobra' ring might be the nearest PM part avaiable

and as for the monk....wow!!! i have that gold 'Inca' crown too..i did visualise exactly what you did but I try not to do themes not connected to uniforms/wars....may I challenge you to think about customising the monk's 'weapon' (you know, the gold 'clobbering' thingy)

Keep going, Tim...I look at my shelves and very now and then when a better idea or part is available, I will 'improve' it...Its hard to explain to others but we customisers understand, dont we

how come you never showed us this custom of yours? I think we can share and improve our customs if we work together like this
(anymore hidden in your closet?

)
ps. for the monk, would you rather try orange-coloured arms from those construction men? ..i know, now orange toga (yet

)
and PM doesnt have a good bald head for asians yet...and I'm waiting for 'japanese' slippers hopefully in 2009 and I might 'explode' with some samurai armies (Yamabushi? No, never heard of them but I know 'Yama' means mountain

)
