I had the chance to gather a few brand new parts at the LuxPlaymoDays in Clemency.

My first thing to do at home was to check if the red trousers from the new pirate sets fit better with the white gaiters.  :D

Sorry for being obscure. This is a combination of old PlayBig parts (haversack, kepi, rifle and bayonett) and some normal pm. The new part here (I have a few more  ;D) is the red trouser of the right one that allows to put a white rubber hose as gaiters without adding to their diameter (see the left one).  I have to get a few more before they all become zuave legs in other peoples collections.  ::)

This turned a bit into a Franco-Prussian war thread.  ::)
Anyway: I got finally enough white horse gaiters.

OMG! WHERE HAVE I BEEN!?  :o :o :o
those PLAYBIG harversacks, rifles, bayonets and caps look wonderful and you've already slowly built up a small army of these Zouves!! congrats!! (whats your desired army size?)

and YES YES YES!! those new red shorts work perfectly with your gaiters! no more bulges!
this is good! someday I might copy this for my british desert rats' leggings...please give me the ETN of the horse's ankle warmers! ;) :)

I'll have to see what I can get. Once I seriously started looking for those parts they came in quite steadly but I had luck too.
