« on: December 21, 2006, 07:21:48 AM »
very very quiet...everyone preparing for holidays ?  :D
....finally added some colours and changed their helmet 'horns' ...
looks like i've gone overboard with this custom but not a drop of glue used and everything is reversible...should there be suggestions to further improve/correct them  ;) l

MERRY XMAS EVERYONE !!

Cheng they look great. I really like the guy with the white and blue flag on his back ;D. You also have a Merry Christmas.

They are fantastic!! :D

Very imaginative use of parts, cheng, and a real inspiration to others who prefer not to use paint and glue on their custom figures! 8)

Wish you a very happy Christmas, too! :-*

I think it will be slightly quieter here during the holiday season. (Even our 'unwelcome visitors' seem to be winding down a little! ;))

Hello, Cheng ...

In my opinion, these are the BEST customs that you have ever made !!!

I really like them a lot !!!

The banners, the figures, and the use of Playmobil (and some non-Playmobil) parts have really come together to make some very convincing Samurai warriors.

Thank you very much for sharing.

Seasons Greetings and all the best,
Richard

Very cool.

The top knots are a cool idea and the helmet decorations look very good. The banners always looked good. I think I'm going to have to steal some of your ideas :)

my thanks to Panos...he gave me the top not idea  ;)

youre most welcome to join me....i've learnt so much from you PM-lovers these last 2-3 years...sharing my 'inventions' is my 'repayment' to you all  :)

and Richard....WOW.....and to think these guys only occupy a modest half of my narrowest * highest ikea shelf...i shall pay more attention to them from now on

and elkurgan,
i shall look out for this show 'Ran'...is it in english? is it an old black&white movie and not a TV series? (we cant get samurai shows here because nobody is interested anymore...i do have 4 or 5 titles and the costumes and hair-do(even kabuki-styled) are magnificient ...

HAPPY NEW YEAR AGAIN GUYS!

And yet, they soon get bored, their weapons get rusty, their nags don't want to charge, terrible, terrible.

GREAT RESPONSE, da Hugh !!! ... ;)
