Tepee poles or what else for klickies' hands?

hello all,
anyone with these parts?
30 02 1610 teepee pole
30 61 1460 teepee poles(6 in a set)
can they fit klicky hands as poles/staff?/walking sticks etc?
(it looks as if these teepee poles are not of the same diameter throughout...but in fact they look like they are narrower at the top ends?

i have 30 02 1780 fence sections but they are slightly too thin and its unsightly to add thickness to them,

or any other original PM parts?

(if i need prior permission before posting these 2 pictures, please let me know)

hi cheng, im sorry but im afraid i cant help u. i looked through some of my boxes but only found parts i need myself i will have a more thorough look over the weekend but i dont think ill get lucky finding anything, sorry

hi cheng, i suggest 30 60 7000 Cauldron stand (three sticks and ring) (brown) from set 3996, they are about 10 cm long, slightly norrowing, have a spiked upper end and a diameter which fits perfectly for a figure's hand on the lower end.

... and they are still available

i found 2 of the older tepee poles 30 02 1610 on a fleamarket a few days ago.

mr frundsberg and a few of his mercenaries were so kind to test them for us. it turned out that they have a decent length and fit quite fairly in the hand of a klicky on the lowest end. but they are rather soft, at least too soft for their business.

except that these older teepee poles are red in color(?! or is it your photography/printer...not a good idea to paint them...too soft)...

errrr..Michael...what if your klikies just hold those 'pikes' upright? they shold look convincing at least....while we wait for 'firmer' teepee poles   

BTW those tripods for the cooking pot & those newer teepee poles are not suitable for this purpose (Rob/skarloey of playmoboard's klicky did pop into his tent and found them too fat for his vinyl hands  )

these poles failed also the upright-test. they have the color of the brown shirt of one of the lads.

but maybe its possible to cut the rows of the viking-ship, they are long, much more stable and have already a handling.

but it'll be a long wait before they show up at flea markets   
and even longer wait for me to migrate to where there are flea markets 

but seriously, its really worth it....will check out my viking ship's oars(they are busy fighting and wont realise their missing oars...anyway i doubt they'll return to sea this time  )

and your avatar...was there a thread to show more? not a British tropical hat?

i will go ot for one post.

the helmet is a prototype. for now i just considered it suitable for my avatar. of course i plan to make a mould, when it is finished.

@Gai: yep...I let my pitiful vikings keep their sails....but they havent realised that they dont have a rudder

the oars of the viking ship should be available in any number in ds (so chengs vikings can get their ship ready for sea again)

@ cheng: i thought of these (5th irish lancers, sudan 1882), the torso should probably be in black. btw, to which unit belongs your avatar?

OMG...your 5th irish lancers are very smart-looking...i wonder if they were hoping to impress any women folk they may capture  (BTW i still avoid making mounted units...i'm out of space)

...and my avatar? i didnt bother to keep record of my custom...was so long ago...cold have been any 1815 regiment of french guards or even infantry (definitely not artillery)
 ...i must have had a reason to spray red pipings(i still have a very nice bright yellow spraycan...yellow pipings would have stood out nicer and most units were having yellow pipings(edgings)

gorgeous idea to use a 1-2-3 figure and a industrial strength finish . without looking at the details i always considered him as late 19th century, maybe naval.
