I really like what I can see of it, especially the combination of that more casual-looking hairpiece with the beard. :)

When do we get to see the whole figure? I'm very curious to see what else you are wearing. ;D

shorts and flip-flops? (no hawaiian shirt..not a new crocodile hunter?!)...an ozzie bushman with binoculars?

I left my love a letter in the hollar of a tree.
I told her she would find me in the U.S. Cavalry.
High, yo, down they go, there's no such word as can't.
We'll ride clean down to hell and back for Ulysses Simpson Grant.

Hmmm ...

I left my Mountie uniform in Canada, as I'm now back in the tropics.

Then ... I donned my King Richard armour which was designed by Cap'n Henry!

And, now ... Is it already time to say goodbye to khaki from Jochen?

How about a big hello to Richard the Roman? ... ;)

Ave, Ricardus ... Hmmm ... Ricardus? ... :)

Ricardus, for some reason, just seems to fit ...  ;D

People don't usually think I look very strange when I wear khaki shorts with a khaki shirt.

However, I wonder what they're going to think when I go out in my Roman costume? ...  ;D

Thanks, Flash ... ;)

All the best,
Richard

Fabulous avatar!!! :o

A roman was not what I was expecting at all after seeing the khaki-shirted figure. I think perhaps that was just to tease us and throw us off the scent. ;)

I also like the dramatic lighting and the angle of the figure in your avatar picture. This combined with the klicky's helmet and armour really helps generate a commanding presence.  8)

Hello, Sylvia ...

I don't know how to tell, Jochen ...   :-\

He spent so much time creating the "khaki Richard" ...
(Which I really do like a lot. But, it's just not me.)

I really feel a bit embarrassed about telling him ...  :-[

Ideas ...  ???

All the best,
Richard

Um. That is difficult. Don't think there is an easy way to solve your dilemma. :-\

But I'm sure Jochen will be very understanding if you explain that you wanted to use a klicky with a slightly more authoritative air. He knows how important the choice of avatar figure can be to many people. :)

The good thing is your new figure can be customized without paint. That should make his task of producing a replica for his collection slightly easier... assuming that you also intend to use it at PF, that is. ;)
