Absolutely fabulous!
And I'm glad to see, taht there are more people into packaging now.

I desperately need those hats you used in the second set. Is it it from the Magic Theme?

All the best!

In fact these are some linen from the 4841 (the crown of the queen dragon). There are always green, but I've use some wihte paintings. I belive they look like great for janisaries.

Hello, Stéphane ...

Your Turkish sets are ... MAGNIFICENT !!!

Absolutely fabulous!
And I'm glad to see, that there are more people into packaging now.

I absolutely agree, Ralf ... Stéphane's Turkish sets are FABULOUS !!!

The hat, as you correctly guessed. was from the Dragon Temple set 3841 of the "Magic Theme."
And, the same hat (without the top and rear neck cover) was also offered as Jungle set 7276 as an "Add-On" set from Direct Service.

All the best and thanks for sharing, Stéphane!
Richard

Not always green, but your chances of finding a white one would be severely limited. ;)

Take a look at the Egyptian figure which tahra at playkingdoms found in a Spanish Surprise egg a few years back. :)
It's at the bottom of this page:

i'm very curious about the use of these "hats with top and rear neck cover"
who wore these and is there a name for these headwear ?

They are specific to otoman's troops. In red linen for the shilatar guards men and wihte for the janissaries.
You could found lot of information about ottoman's armies if you folowing this link (in french sorry) ;)

I left my love a letter in the hollar of a tree.
I told her she would find me in the U.S. Cavalry.
