Hello everyone!
I recently received some Egyptians from Maltese Knight (thank you)
So my Sister and I had a playmo battle to test them out!

Not only were we testing the Egyptians, but the melee combat rules I created.
So without further a do...
The beginning set up

I begin by throwing pila at the Egyptian light infantry, then moving forward and attacking them

I keep my cavalry behind incase my Sister attemps a flanking attack on my legionnaires with her heavy infantry,
But when she brings her elephant forward I realise I need to get my cavalry to flank her elephant and kill it,
So I charge her heavy infantry head on

Meanwhile my Sister's archer manages to pick off a few of my legionnairs on the other side of the battlefield before I kill her archer with my own.
I then move my legionnaires forward and throw their pila at her light infantry
(I was surprised they actually took down a few of her men, usualy pila have no effect...

)

Her elephant kills one of my cavalry, and her chariot kills another.
I manage to destroy her chariot while my infantry sweep around and kill her elephant with a flank attack

Her light infanrty retreats behind her cavalry while my archer attempts to pick them off

More fighting on the other side of the battle,
My infantry engage my Sister's and her cavalry retreats back to the main body of her army

My cavalry and light infantry man charge the Egyptians while my legionnaires on the otherside of the field form a line and prepare to march twords the fray.
My sister surrounds my light infantry man with her cavalry,
But realising the hoplesness of the situation surrenders, ending the match.

We played with my Romans.
(20 legionnaires on my side, plus centurians and standards, my commander and a few other people... totaling 35 men)
Against her Egyptians and Mercenary cavalry. (Totaling 29 men)
Though the numbers seem in my favor I didnt use several of my men...
(My centurions, opitos, and standards... plus my commander, and my gladiators)
It was a fun battle, and the rules worked out well.
I hope you all enjoy the pictures.
