...Have you tried the "pirate breeches"--the legs that look like short-pants, bare calves, and shoes? I painted one up for an unsuccessful japanese figure. The shorts simulate the pant-legs bound at the knees pretty well..
My figure wound up being a disaster, but I was happy about the legs.

yes, i've bought 3 long ago but still not ready to spray their samurai sandals yet........youre right....I like the wider-looking pirate breeches (better than these wiking legs) which are more like the real thing.....but i'm still not reay to make those floral patterns on them like you did
maybe i'll just spray the sandals and worry about the patterns later! thanks very very much!

I liked your protective 'skirts' too...perhaps you might like to consider using those colorful but stiffer and narrower telephone wires?
