@ cheng: of course there will be a display of ALL nations involved (I even think about the Australian detachment!! ) in the relief of Peking.........
Frenchies are the most difficult for me at the moment, US Marines are onthe way and British Marines are in a developing phase).
As a GEerman, my emphasis lies on the German troops, of course...

GREAT PROJECT, OLKI!

The "Siege at Peking" is so interesting for military modelers because it brings together the uniforms of so many different countries. And, many of these countries were adversaries!

I know that Cheng and I are very interested in the Boxer Rebellion and in seeing the photos of your display. And, there are probably a lot of other members here at GW-PC who are also very interested.

Russians are beautiful, I like afghans too but made some good chinese and especially soldiers or boxers is very difficult. Perhaps too much colorful. You can perhaps use this sort of light turban for chinese (or malasians) on this exemple of coolies, I try to do boxers but I couldn't found a satisfying custom.

this light blue turban is very appropriate for boxers....(unlike indian turbans which are wound/built up from a very long piece of cloth)....in fact i used two of these 'light' turbans on my boxers
