hi there

finally I'd like to introduce myself

some of you may already know me from other playmobil related websites 

I'm aged 45, of german origin, and live in the beautiful baroque city of Ludwigsburg in the south of germany (NOT bavaria!).

I am collecting playmobil for about ten years (or so), it all started with the first few fantasy specials and the green dragon ... but I really got hooked by the pirate ships ...

My main themes of interest concerning playmobil are all sorts of historic and/or adventurous themes with a focus on pirates, soldiers & knights, but every now and then there's also some "modern" playmobil sneaking into the collection for some reason or another.

I ususally do customizing, sometimes in a soft way (i.e. just swapping parts) and sometimes in a more "hardcore" way, torturing poor and helpless klickies with paint, glue, needles and whatever sort of material I find that suits the current goal.  I guess you'll find out.
