Hello, Cheng ...

Fort Eagle was introduced by Playmobil about seven years ago ...

However, the "red coat" figure is just now making his appearance in Germany as the Captain of the new 4290 Pirate Ship. It will be awhile before he makes his way across the Atlantic to North America.

The "Conquistadores" are part of the same Pirate theme. So, we don't expect to see any of them here in the States for a least a year.

Fortunately, the "Add Ons" (Bestell-Katalog) from Direct Service is keeping our wargaming figure selection alive. However, Playmobil has discontinued their wonderful fieldpiece cannon (7320) ...  :(

And, there is nothing left of the Victorian theme ... :(

All the best,
Richard

I got two of those conquistadores the last week and I have to say that 10 euro for two figures is much too much expensive to build up a bigger unit though it would actually look great. Insted of new sets I would prefer see better figures as specials which r cheap and easy to get  :).  Interesting for us is maybe the templar knight and bowman).
For our German members we will get CDs with stories on it from playmobil. see here-> http://www.playmobil.de/on/demandware.store/Sites-DE-Site/de_DE/Link-Page?id=PLAYMOS

have a nice day!

Thanks for the link, GaiusIulius ...

10 Euros for two Klickys ...  ???

I just bought these four sets at Target this week for $2.99USD each.

That's about $1.50 (or about 1.06 Euros) per Klicky.

That means that you should be able to buy almost 10 Klickys, GaiusIulius, for what you paid for only two Klickys!

IMO ... There is something definitely wrong with Playmobil's pricing scheme!

In the UK we pay about £2 per klickly, or $4.10 US at today's exchange rates.

The Specials are £2 each (or more) in the shops, but even ordering figures by direct order, the single figures are £2 and the three figure sets are £6 - £7 for the three.
"The game's a-klick, Watson!"

can u give me an exchange rate pound to euro martin? When I see the prices I guess its cheaper to order a clicky at DS than to buy one in UK...In Germany its about 2,00  to 2,20 Euro a special which is to my mind a good price.
@Richard: when I went to Canada i got serious problems finding playmobil in the shops and when my parents went to the US they also didnt find lots of playmobil. I hope I will be lucky to find some of the bixes u posted in december cuz I really like them.

very interesting set... is this a new kind of ship, or a rehash base?

I really like that Roman family... it really resembles a wealthier Roman family in those days :D

and of course the Gauls too.

the redcoat captain in 4444 looks interesting....anyone knows whether hiss printed red torso is just a rehash from past sets or a new one?  :)

Here in Greece prices are similar to yours Tano with the highest to be 3 euro

Hey Richard would you be so kind to collect few of the new target bubbbles for me?
Swap or paypal what ever you prefer if its not too much trouble of course
Unboxed in a bubble envelope to Greece will do fine for me even if ihave to wait a month to get them.

By the way anyone of our overseas friends that wants anything posted can ask me.
We are not as fast updated as in Germany but we do get them faster than you

Cheers

@ panos: The blister sets are sold in the zirndorf fun park, too. So maybe it is easier if you have contacts to the german board (while the us price still seems to be unbeatable. :o)

@all: Has anybody fired one of the new cannons yet? How far do they reach? It seems that the naval guns are to be replaced by a new 'rocket' launching device and until now every change of the guns/ammunition let to an reduced performance.   ::)

@ geobra: Thanks a lot!!! :-)
