great scenario and photography Cooster!!

i could imagine the slow march of the horses  ;)
are they on the retreat?
(no torn uniforms or flags but the hat-less riders made me imagine so)

i like your variety of hats!!

beautiful pictures!   ;D

BEAUTIFUL CUSTOMS AND PHOTOGRAPHY !!!

I love your customized collsr and cavalier hat which was so typical of many of the Conferderate cavalry officers of the time.

Well done, Vincent ...

BTW, Vincent ...

I really like the idea of using the "new" horses as draft animals to pull the wagons, cannon, etc.
(I was wondering what I was going to do with them.) ... ;)

Thanks again and all the best,
Richard

With all due to respect to Richard I much prefer the new horses as draft animals or cavalry mounts. Of course I would love to see a charging horse. but in the meantime my cavalry are walking onto the field of conflict as oppose to stopping off for a drink and a chat and a smoke and grip of an apple.

I left my love a letter in the hollar of a tree.
I told her she would find me in the U.S. Cavalry.
