For my part, I buy bases, and I them customise, I try to use the least possible painting or other and to remain with readiest of 100% Playmobil

In the U.S., sadly there's not really a store that sells playmobil, so I gotta buy it all online...basically playmobil.com or ebay...I don't paint stuff or customize figures so cant tell ya much about that... If anyone knows a good store in the U.S. that has a wide selection of playmobil, please tell  ;)
Long live playmobil, and its fans, knights and garden wargaming!!! Hoorah!!! Yea, thats all...

hey...OLCESE!
everyone is still guessing what you meant by bases  :D please come in!  ;D

my guess is that OLCESE buys playmobil men who are the nearest in colour (legs or torsos or arms) to the army colours he is replicating in PM.

then we can 'color' them by adding different colored cuffs/collars and paint their shoes or stripes, belts etc(i dont think he's referring to those completely white PM)

please take some time to read some of the relevent threads in customising, shopping etc...there's no short cut if you want to do it well. and good luck!
