I especially love your Confederate and Yankee admirals !!!

Regading the regimenteal flag for the 54th Mass., my understanding is that they did NOT have one. The only flag that they seemed to have carried was the United States 34 stars and stripes (see attachment).

Ian Croxall has some really great flags at his warflag.com website (see attachment).

Hello Richard,

well, in my opinion they have three flags:
- United States 34 stars and stripes
- the Union Troop Flag (I dont know the real name) such like in my pic
- the flag of massachussetts with a slogan

I saw this in the movie Glory.

Do you know this flag?

Warflag is an very interessting page, bat the quality of the flags is for using with Playmobil very bad.

Hello, Bennain ...

I'm not sure that the flag shown in the movie "Glory" is accurate. It's based upon the current Massachusetts State Flag (see attachment) which wasn't adopted until 1915.

Click HERE for the official information about the Massachusetts State Seal. I think that you might agree that the movie makers may have used their imaginations rather than historical fact.

However, the great thing with Playmobil is that we can be like the movie makers. We can also use our imaginations and make whatever we want ... ;)
