Qing Dynasty imperial guards
« on: March 30, 2011, 06:01:58 AM »
I haven't posted any new customising threads here for a while  :P, though my heart is always with GW but I've learnt while posting in Playmofriends that I must not take for granted that my not-so-common themes are common knowledge  ;D

so, without much adieu, I like to just add;

By the end of the 17th century, the Qing had eliminated all Ming resistance and chinese were forced to wear the long Manchu queue to distinguish between the Manchus and the indigenous Chinese.

Intermarriage between a Manchu and a Chinese was forbidden.

The Manchu queue was a symbol of submission to their rule and
anyone who cut their ponytail could face execution or treason.
