Unfourtuntly I don't have any pictures of Koren soldiers to give you Cheng.
But if you every want really nice, detailed pictures of Japanese soldiers I have plenty.

I have one really good picture of Ashigarus that is colored.
It also has early (12th Century?) Samurai armor.
The 12th century being the period I am trying to recreate.

Though the book has lots of 1590s pictures in it too.
(For your Japanese, Korean, Chinese war... )

Cheng, you really do some wonderful conversions.  If you're doing Asian soldiers of the time of the Boxers, the British had a Chinese Regiment too,  The 1st Chinese Regiment sometimes called the Wei-hi-wei Regiment.

Hi Cheng the photo you published is from Osprey's book set during the Taiping Era (1870s).  Granted, not much probably changed.

Have you seen pics of the Taiping generals and their umbrellas?

I should get off my butt and get back into the game...  Wife and Daughter heading to China ahead of me.  Have the next three weeks free...
