thanks guys and SW! MacGayver's method is perfect...mine is just made from PVC sticker sheet  :P

so not a drop of paint, Justindo (unless youre referring to their shoes which I did and showed on GW eons ago  ;D

yes Richard...I need a good printer and sticky PVC labels and I'm still thinking of a suitable officer for them  ;)

interesting question,
long long ago...when removing heads was considered dangerous  :D I removed/changed these original 'closed' collars by cutting the meeting point of the collars and tug them out from behind the unsuspecting klicky (its kinder than beheading them...in the old days  :P )
and when i push them back on another klicky...after the forced stretching of these collars...they stay slightly 'open'
...so they are really original PM collars
(I hope I understood your question correctly)

Yes, you did. That's dedication, but I remember a greater carefulness with the precious parts in my earlier days, too. :D

Your army looks fantastic!

As for the hats, they look perfect. 

MacGuyver's way of making hats is just too hard for those of us without machine tools.  Your paper hats--though I should have thought of them myself--has inspired me to take another go.

BTW, I'm reading a book on the Imjin War (Japanse Invasion of Korea, 1590) that I had to special order from Korea (it is in English).  Learning a lot of interesting stuff about the problems in the late Ming army.
