Starting somewhere
« on: July 12, 2005, 05:58:06 PM »
Okay, it seems that this is quite a big undertaking, and I think it best to start somewhere and just concentrate on one area.  Thus, I have chosen two figures. 1. the Prussian Infantry of 1870 to 1900.  I have seen some pics of this infantry around on these sites.  It looks good.  I also think that once I buy a few figures from the Victorian Police Range, I can get started.  I can make a mold of the picklehaub and away I go.  The only problem here is finding enough klickeys in that blue style to make it work.

2.  British infantry in home service.  This might be easier.  If I can find some klicky's with Red Torsos, and arms, all I need is some klickies with dark blue legs, black boots.  I can switch.
If someone will sell me a pitch helmet, I can start molding them.  The Bearskin Victorian Guards would be nice but I think it is again a problem to find enough sets of this stuff.

next I'm gonig to call the direct service dept. and order some bolt rifles with bayonets.
Any suggestions on what to do next :)
