I am practising to cut kilts from klicky torsos. So this egyptian kilt part got into existence. (Please excuse the inaccuracies)

is it only me who cannot figure out how you cut/made this skirt 
or is it too sensitive a question 
or too painful a question? 

may I ask the 'obvious' ignorant question of "what did you cut the skirt from? and how did you fix it over his legs?"

As already shown here it is possible to cut normal torsos and to put them over the legs as a kind of skirt, kilt or loincloth. I use the thinnest jigsaw blades for metal available. It is possible to cut without splintering of the plastic. On the 4th picture there is a small cut on the lower right edge that shows how thin the cuts are. The piece fits so tight that it is not necessary to glue it and so it can be removed again.

I think it will be easier to make a sticker to be wrapped around further torsos when the final shape is found. I want especially make kilts from the dark green torso with tartan style pattern and if i can cut them I do not have to paint.

thanks for the idea! ....they might look better (than the long blue skirts) for trench coats (for WW1) which I have been thinking about  ....I'll experiment with a very old and probably brittle torso which 'burst' around the neck when I pulled off his head

I think I have one 'dark green torso with tartan pattern' (do you have the klicky's part number? ...i think he was a construction crew member) lying in my spare box for you Micheal ! I hope you're not planning to build a huge army

You might consider tayloring a vest of the kind of http://playmodb.org/setpics/4206.jpg. Maybe it can be used to lengthen the torso.
