It`s not my period, but fascinating pics. So many soldiers together look very impressive and I like the backgrounds. Thanks for showing them to us.

.....napoleonc uniform......by andré JOUINEAU

hello garvannec!
ACW is one of my favourite themes...
i particularly liked seeing your southerners...i have a larger party with this kind of "cross-dressing"

but like you, i too am unable to share very clear pictures with members because of my poor room lighting and my "inferior" digital cam...i've taken on many occassions just to find that they are too dark when i'm about to show them here...

do show us again if you have time to move them outdoors! :D

oh, and thanks for the link...andré JOUINEAU's pictures are fantastic!!! if only he does this for romans, ACW... :)

I like your pictures and specialy their "tuniques bleues"'s spirit

Stéphane

PS for non-french: "les tuniques bleues" (the blues jackets) is a comics french serie about one caporal and one sergent in the union army. A funny one.

Yoyei {Playclicks) and I (Garden Wargaming) have had great fun bringing this forum to everyone ... :)

Thank you, Garvannec, for sharing your American Civil War collection with all of us.

I have enjoyed looking at all the detail work that you have put into them.

I especially like your Zouaves. The Zouave regiments on both sides were the most colourful troops of this period.

No one has yet made a Playmobil regiment of the Louisiana Tigers ... ;)

Please post more fotos ...

All the best,
Richard
