Richard, thank you for the pics!  The contents of this egg looks fantastic with lots of useful parts, not to mention a great klicky as shown.

I got one for myself a few days ago and I have to admit, it's a very good set (I didn't tear him apart immediately....that's a good sign.), but I have one question for our Asian experts. Are his sleeves anywhere near a historical correctness?

I too will defer to the judgment of the board's Asian experts, but I don't think they're authentic.  Tim?  Cheng?

Playmobil was very correct in using them for their Romans, but they should have left it at that.  I don't like them on the knights and they look terrible on the pirates.

I think they look nice... not sure how realistic, but nice.
Would love to get a few of them for hoarse archers!

Agreed, unfortunately having created the mold Playmobil seem to want to use it everywhere, and I really don't think it's appropriate in most cases.

What I know about the Mongols would fit on the back of a postage stamp, so I'm looking forward to some research. Meantime this guy and his Mongol companion look good to me!

Authentic? Realistic? I don't care, in my opinion this guy to me is one of the coolest klicky's i've seen in awhile. I'll take 30 please.  ;D

Believe me guys....I do keep reminding myself this is Playmo...and I have hypnotised myself into accepting and using these shoulder straps on some of my 'Chinese'.

The way Geobra uses them...they'll be putting them on Samurai armor next :P
but I never expected GB to put them on Mongols  :o now I've to get myself drunk before I buy some of these.

and BIG THANKS Richard, for showing them here.....i was hoping to see his torso but i can imagine the pattern just running straight up under his collar

i dont think I can use any of his body parts for my Asian customs...so I wait some more  :)
