Her are some pictures of the Playmobil catalogue 2008/2009. I think there are some wonderful costum possibilitys. :D

like Richard and many other serious collectors, its the Masai, followed by the cossack that is worth waiting for....

the shield (which i was thinking of spraying some) and the leopard skin on the masai skirt.

Cossack: its the first time i've see Geobra put a sword belt over a fixed-on belt...which i've never done because the second belt will 'float' above the first if you know what i mean...i'm not too crazy over his torso (from the magdeburger figure?) but the reuse of the Fu-man-chu face is interesting to see if some new asians may still be possible in 2009

The Cossack and Massai really look great. Perhaps someone in the Playmobil development department noticed Ralf's great custom sets after all  ;) ;D

Anybody noticed the Katana in the hand of one of those ghost pirates  ;D

Looking forward to the Masai (for Zulu's) and the mongol (asian face, black belt, gold epaulettes etc. ) and the guard. (conquistador helmet and shield)

Those wolf knights look interesting. I wonder how the armour looks like in real life...
