very good Andy !
did you use those casting methods
or was it fashioned from a cover/tube?
his visor looks great too...would it be easier if you used those PM sun visors from those beach klickies?

i bet you'll be getting a nice decal to complete your new hat!
hope to hear more from you on this project  ;)

it all depends on how many cotton buds Andy has X 2....assuming he has much more caps from the old circus director

and Andy....just great!
....another idea for the metal badge....those stamped tin foils for adorning girsl's nails...very expensive tho' (i took a pack from my daughter but have yet to use it...in case they get laughed at by the French enemies...but cotton buds...well at least they will make 'soft' targets   :D )

That figure really looks good!  The shako's in proportion and the badge and plume really make it.

I'm not sure I've the courage to borrow anything from my daughter Cheng.  She's still not forgiven me for taking her new make-up "blusher brush" -because it was ideal for dusting model soldiers.

Great shako, Andy!

I think that it's the best looking Playmobil shako that anyone has made!

Thank you for sharing and I'm looking forward to seeing your new "correct" figures.

All the best,
Richard

I left my love a letter in the hollar of a tree.
I told her she would find me in the U.S. Cavalry.
