Hi  All

I am Tim (Tim_W) from playmoboard. I am 26 years old and i live in England. I have been interedted in playmobil since i was a child and started collecting it again as an adult about 3 years ago.
I decided to register here because i have an interest in getting into garden wargaming with playmobil and need some more inspiration. I mainly collect the modern playmobil themes but have a fairly big Playmobil pirate army. Hopefully this army will develope into a bigger fighting force over the next few months.

Thank you for the kind welcome. I have allways been interested in trucks and fire engines but there is a also part of me that just loves wargaming. When i started out on playmoboard i had a small pirate army which i used to do photo storys with. Back then pirates where not that popular but then later on there was an increase in pirate fans. The novelty for me sort of wore off in the end because most of what could be done had been done allready. Hopefully i can find some new inspiration here that will encourage me to try to make something more of my small army. Needless to say there are more options available to me now so stay tuned for some new things :wink:

Thank you also for the your welcome and kind words. Hopefully i will be able to come up with some new pirates for my army soon, i have allways wanted to do more with them. Like i said to the others there are a few more ideas going around in my head at the moment so we could see a new type of army in the next few months. Other than this i have allways wanted to make a different pirate ship, so hopefully something new will turn up too. As for Derick he is very much alive and well, i will introduce him again soon. I will also pass on the message that you were asking about him   .

Thank you very much indeed for the kind welcome's, its good to be here. Hopefully i will be able to post some pictures this weekend. I seem to be dropping on a lot of knight's and Medieval sets latley, maybe this could be the beginning of a new army .
