Pirates search the swamps at night for any anchored ship... Their next victims!  

This photo was largely made with Photoshop. I took a picture of the pirates in their boat with a solid-colored background that was digitally eliminated. Then, rendered the swamp water, lighting effects, and background (I only had one actual Playmobil plant!)...

A lone pirate, stranded on a small island after being thrown overboard...

This one was made similar to the swamp pirate picture, with the sky and water being added after the original photo was taken.

Great photos! I use photoshop alot as well - but your techniques are wonderful.

(Could you email me larger versions of those? They'd make great desktop images!)

I would be happy to email you larger versions of the photos. I will have to locate them, and will send them, hopefully within a couple of days... They are big files though, so may take a little while to open... I am going to have to go back and re-visit your photo postings!
