thanks all !

.....what are you going to do with all of thier Ladders
Regards Craig

good question Craig...would you believe i can do with more?!  ;D
you see, they are about the correct height for putting more ladders to my Western forts...i have always been wondering how those guards get up there  :D

and those 'metal' PM stretchers are too advanced with 'skids' etc...these 'wooden' ladders make fantastic stretchers...in fact i have made some US & CS medics and added women nurses to my ACW shelves

by the way, here's a pic i copied for the black heads(Richard, if we are not allowed to post for copyright reasons, please delete or let me do it if i can)

Hi Cheng and a good idea

I am planning a civil war doctor by taking the vet in 4495 and putting his jacket and white sleaves on a blue/grey uniform

and Craig, after that you'll like to add a nurse in all black wearing a white what-u-call apron-that-goes-up-to-her-chest...  ;D
do you have any stretchers yet?

Hi cheng I got a pile of mint boxed Chinney Sweeps of ebay and last time I was at home (parents) (who do toy fairs to supplement thier pension) they had a pile well at least 4 stretchers. so before they sell them do I combine the parts ??

And just to be boastfull my mother picked up an aminal shelter set for me
(I am married and over 40 but mothers are mothers) so now have a beautiful building and two pine trees. Wonder if the box could be sold on ebay ?

4 stretchers? (not 4 ladders?) i dont have any PM stretchers...i thought they are single pieces... (cant find any in playmoboard) I dont know if they correct for 1700s-1800s? but i di know they had collapsible ones already.

fairs? tempted to migrate there  :D
over 40 and still your mum buys toys for you? will she adopt Cheng? jealous jealous jealous  ;D

Hi Cheng!

These are terrific customs! I see you`ve painted part of the muskets/carbines and the belt buckles.

Gasp!Isn`t this a new departure for you?

The hussars certainly look good.

Are you going to tell us how you made those deathsheads?  I`d certainly like to copy... I mean, I´d certainly like to know how you did it.

David

Good to hear from you again David!
a complement from the master himself?  ;D
(I keep a folder of some of your customs...i think they are the ultimate and will give me plenty to do when i retire  ;) )

yes, painting is very much against my own rules...up to now i'm still against spraying a whole shirt or sleeve or even a short shoulder sleeve(like the old romans' )
..if i can overcome this someday, i'll be able to make many themes for darker skinned klickies  ;D ..well, maybe it'll be a consolation for retirement then  :P

these deathsheads are just PVC stickers that you can find in stationery or toy shops.(usually i have to use my daughter as cover when browsing those loads od stickers)
...the rest of the custom...David can easily make in 20 minutes, including the simple painting  ;D (for not-so-familiar-with-PM members, please note that the 'buttons' on the pants and shoulders are original...i only painted the rifles and buckles like David said)

So Cheng, your slowly succumbing to an urge to paint your klickies!! :D
Today a belt buckle tomorrow an arm, next week maybe a complete klicky!!  ;D
Can you wait for retirement? I think you`ll be painting them before then.  8)

The stickers look good.
I gave up taking my kids to the toyshops, it was too expensive.
I pretend I´m buying a gift. Then I get it gift wrapped.  ;)
