Title: Greetings from Texas
Post by: seeadler on August 17, 2006, 11:22:42 PM
I just joined the garden wargaming site as I found my box of old playmobils from when I was a kid.  I got interested and did a little surfing on the web.  Currently, I do not own very many of these guys.  I have my stagecoach being robbed by a band of hostiles from my Indian set.  I pirated the lances from my knights set to claim they are from the Mexican Lancers of the Texas Revolution and the Mexican-American War.  I will try and post a picture later if I can figure out this digital stuff.  I look forward to visiting this site often.  Thanks for having me aboard.  :D

Howdy ... (http://www.gardenwargamer.com/images/wave.gif)

And, a BIG welcome from beautiful Vancouver Island ... :)

Glad you decided to join us. I have often thought about making Playmobil figures from the Mexican War, but never got around to it.

I also thought that it would be fun to do the "Mexican Adventure" when the French were there around the time of the US Civil War.

Hope to see you around.

All the best,
Richard
