Title: New To The Group

Hi, I am Joe.

I first started collecting Playmobil for a couple of years in the mid 80s for one of my daughters.
Last year I returned to it for my grandson.

My interests are for the War of 1812 and Napolionics period. I want to do land and naval figures and if anyone can assist me I would be grateful.

Welcome to GW-PC from warm and sunny St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands.

There are quite a few members here who are also interested in Napoleonic and War of 1812 (the North American "Napoleonic" period) uniforms, ships and battles.

You have probably already browsed the forum and seen some of the beautiful custom Playmobil figures and ships from the early 1800s created by some of our members. Everyone is happy to help you. All you have to do is ask ... ;)

Please tell us some more about yourself. Where are you from? Have you tried any customs (conversions, painting, etc.) yet? Were you able to keep any Playmobil from the 80s, or are you starting from scratch?
