Great pic, Stéphane! (without the "i")
As my knowledge of uniforms for each period is very limited, I was able to fully appreciate all your hard work in creating this image without becoming distracted by jacket colours. :D
Your smoke effect looks very realistic! Well done! 8)

Before I make any comments ...
Click HERE (http://www.bbc.co.uk/history/war/trafalgar_waterloo/launch_anm_trafalgar.shtml) to see an "animated" version of the "Battle of Trafalgar."
(You can also "fight" the Battle of Waterloo!)
Ok ...
We have said that we will deal harshly with "nitpickers" here at GW-PC !!!
But, when everyone is correct (and in agreement) ... It's ok ... :)
Rocroi said that a "Royal Navy" officer had a "blue" uniform jacket. That is correct!
However, Stéphane already knew that!
But, let's not forget that in 1805 the "Royal Marine" officer wore a "red" jacket! ... ;)
(It appears that we may only have a French-English translation problem. In English the word "Marine" refers to the "soldiers" of the Navy. And, "Navy" refers to the "sailors" of the Navy.)

Its a very nice battle (& I love the smoke) but that ain't Nelson in a redcoat sorry.
BTW just to add to the confusion, he was also a Colonel of Royal Marines (as were a lot of Admirals) but that was an honorary rank he never wore the uniform.
