Title: Ahoy Mates! Playmobil fan from Brazil!!

Hello Everybody!
I´ve been reading this forum for about 2 weeks before I decided to join in.
It really helped me with my first customs.
My name is Gabriel, I´m from Brazil and I´m 19 years old.
I´m a playmobil fan since I was a kid (6, i think) and I had a large amount of the Pirate theme, including the 3750 pirate ship and the 3799 Pirate Island.

Time has passed and they stoped selling playmobil in Brazil.  :shock:  
Almost 6 years later (the present year. 2005) how surprised I was to see that they were back on sale.   :D
(unfortunally they are now made by Antex and they´re kinda bad compared to Geobra ones.)
That brought my passion back and I decided to be a collector. (Pirate-theme only)
Two months ago I dragged my old collection from the attic (at least what was left of it) and started to buy new ones in mercadolivre (something like ebay).

Well, that´s pretty much it.
I´m interested in starting to build my own fleet (custom) and some help would be apreciated.

As long as you don't use your ships to hunt down my pirates, I think we can help you out. ;)

Welcome, and please feel free to ask questions and share photos of your collection. The one thing we all love on this board is to see photos of Playmobil! :D

Hey Captain Enrique!
In the present time I´ve only 3 ships and they´re all busy looking for merchant ships in strange waters, hehehe.  :mrgreen:
I´m waiting for some more klickies to arrive, then I will post some pictures of my collection.

It´s very hard to find pirates made by geobra here in Brazil, and when I do find, I have to pay almos 20 dollars per figure.  :(
And since I´m still a college student, I have no such money to buy everything I want.

But this week I´ll post some pictures of my bucaneers, ships and islands.
(I´ve got only a few soldiers. But they already got a castle to portect my future port)
