Japanese invades Korea, fighting a Korean-Chinese Alliance (3 huge armies to build and maybe someday I'll start customising system-x buildings and ships  ;) )

Ill help you with your Japanese army Cheng,
If you ever wanted to build a diorama. :)

Those Koreans look really good,
This has tempted me to break ranks and go out customising Japanese soldiers...
But if I do that I wont be able to buy some of the things currently being discontinued!
So I must hold! :-[ :-[ :-[
(Its so hard!) ;D

I cvant wait to see all your Asian armies matched for battle one day Cheng,
That will be a sight to see! :o :o :o

Nice Korean's Cheng. Your oriental custom's are very inspiring, and makes me hopeful for a theme dedicated to them.

Are talking about the 15 hundreads,
Or some of the earlier Japanese, Korea, Chinese wars... ???

hey WOT...I think this Imjin war alone is enough to keep me busy...anyway I'll still make just a few more for a small Imjin War diorama....no more space for big armies ;)

That is too bad,
I would have loved to see a large Imjin war Diorama! ;D

Maybe if we ever meet I will have enough men
And we can make a large Diorama together. :)

Not sure I already commented.

These guys look fantastic.  :o Best of all is the bearded guy with the wide-brimmed black hat.

I didn't notice--did you try customizing the flail?  A lot of the Korean generals fought with flails roughly similar to "numb chucks" (I recreated by removing the ball-and-chain from two knight flails then connecting the handles together).

The flail let the mounted men wack foot soldiers downward across the skull.

Your men look completely better than mine.  I may imitate you to build up my Korean army.

Challenge:
Convert a Playmobil Viking ship into a turtle ship!

good suggestion Tim...I'm running short of katanas anyway....and one of my boxers is using 2 balls and chain so I must search for the 2 sticks left behind...maybe its with my ninja

I may imitate you to build up my Korean army. please do Tim....there's nobody else making koreans so it'll be a welcome sight...and playmobil definitely wont be making one  ;)

Convert a Playmobil Viking ship into a turtle ship!
cheng hasnt customise any ships before....let me get a second viking ship first...the box is simply too big to order via post  :P ...i have dreamed of these turtle ships....I have been looking at those older green roman shields for this purpose someday...I dread cutting & spraying them for now  :P

and WoT, I'll be too busy looking at your collections if we can meet one day  :)

"you never know"  ;) I'll always say  ;D
I started like you...my ACW northerners had to have even same hair...after a while, I decided to make sure no two faces look alike(combination of different hair & face) but until today, they all still stand in the same pose, have exactly the same pouches on the same side...not life like but then thats how we like them...I remembered you said yours had different hair/face too right?   ;)

Yeah, a few of my people
(at least the next Samurai I will buy)
will have different hair styles.
(There will be 6 of them, one will have the "Samurai hair",
2 will have Regular Black Hair, and 3 will have Long Black Hair.)
And I have 4 or 5 different faces. :)

But like you they will have all the same armor, And the same weapons.
(When I start buying them in bulk they will have different weapons,
But these first few will all have spears.) ;D

I will also have a second and third and fourth style of armor
when I start buying them with the new Specials. ;D ;D ;D (CANT WAIT!!!)

Oh that reminds me!
I will have one person really different from the others. (Other then my leader. ;) )
He will be the standard bearer, he will half the half Egyptian armor, and the white belt they have.
And on his back he will carry a Flag! ;D
He will also have a top knot hair style. :) (A simplified one...)
