Even though my first posts go back to 2005, I just realized that I didn't introduce myself here, which is a shame  :o

My name is David, born in 1974 (same year PM was born) and living in Belgium - Denderleeuw which is a small town between Brussels and Ghent.

My favorite PM themes are Pirates, Knights, Western & Indians ;D Actually, I like everything that has a historical character like e.g. Romans, Egyptians, Vikings, etc...

And, I have a special interest in customizing PM pirate ships :)
Crusader ships & a Santa Maria are still on my 'work in progress' list  ::)

And, a BIG welcome from the warm and beautiful Virgin Islands in the Caribbean !!!

After, once again, enjoying the pictures of ALL of your magnificent custom ships, I am a bit embarrassed that I haven't taken photos of my Playmobil fleet. Especially since I live in the Caribbean, totally surrounded by clean blue-green water with clear sunny skies.

Actually I'm a Capt'n on retirement...
The last 2 to 3 years I've spend a lot of time with building a house and my 2yo son Alexander...

But, still my heart is with the PM pirate theme...
So, today I've bought the complete 2011 pirate set on ebay ;D

And if I find the time I will finally make the Santa Maria...
Shouldn't be that difficult because all the pre-work has been done with the Crusader ship  ::)

Really looking forward to someday seeing your Santa Maria. DD, your "Caribbean Queen" is still my favorite of all time!
