Title: part of an napoleonic fortress
Post by: Leblanc d. II. on January 16, 2009, 09:12:40 AM
Hello friends,
i have build a little part of a fortress, which you can locate in the napoleonic era. I don`t know if the rampsystem, that i use, is historically correct, but it could be so. ;)

I hope you enjoy it.

That looks really good.  What always amazes me is the way people come up with new ideas for displaying klickies.

I mean, obviously guns must have been pulled up onto the ramparts of forts but you don't often see model/toy soldiers doing it.

The ramps look OK to me.  Here's a pic of Fort Brokhurst at Gosport in England which has a permanently built gun ramp (arrowed in red).

Splendid model, Leblanc ...

Wonder if some of the guns were also dismantled and hoisted into place using a derrick system?

Thanks for sharing.

All the best,
Richard
