As you might know, I am working on a new epic photostory, which is placed in a fictional little country named Potzau. Timeline is between 1560 - 1680, so there´s plenty of space for Landsknechts, Curassiers, Condottieres and musketeers.....
So here are the first, swedish inspired (Gustav Adolphus II. army), hope you enjoy...
These are the heavy cavalry, curassiers or Potzau´s Ironsides.....
-
These guys are the light cavalry, an no real dragoons and no lancers, something in between.....
-
some details...
-
even more detail... ;)
-
and the rest of the gang...
on the left some "Freischütz" recruits, still to be equipped
Musketeers in the Middle
and Pikemen on the right
-
and here some of the enemies......
the Landsknecht mercenaries of evil condottiere Borus Fonsecca
-
or some cossacks
-
or other eastern adversaries....
-
more cossacks
-
The Duke of Potzau´s own Guard
-
and finally some pics of a little ECW Diorama, I did last year at the Osterholz (near Bremen) fair...

@olki: The 'simplicius simplicissimus' serial from the 70ies is finally available at amazon.de. I am very sure you will like the film, if you do not know it already.
I do like your theme, as you will imagine.

Hello, Dan ...
This is great! Richard it reminds me of the Major General's amazing campaigns in Ouargistan! http://www.zeitcom.com/majgen/
As you probably already know, the Major General's site is still one of my favorites ... :)
David hasn't updated his site for quite awhile now. He got married and moved out into the country. I sent him an email recently and did not get an answer. I hope that he's ok.
If you hear or read anything please let me know.
All the best,
Richard

nice customs Olki ! (sorry if I dont connect with them...I know nothing about this part of history :P )
and my turn to ask....is the fur vest on the ex-grave-robber on the far right of your newest customs, original from those new egyptian sets too? they will look good on wandering samurai(s)!
-
Thanks Cheng, and no, the fur vest is from the DS Set with the gauls. The Egytians only have those other black accessories, like the belts...
