Here is pics of my ship crew. The only thing is they have no vessel yet. But i'm working on it. Hope you like. ;D
-
The last of the crew.

Did u airbrush them? They look like original parts :o apart from the short trousers which I know are originally not blue. I hope we will see the ship on whcih they serve soon!
-
Very nice!
I'm trying to put together some sort of British Royal Navy seamen, but I doubt mine will look so splendid. I'll probably just have matching hats to indicate some uniformity.
These guys must be ready to row the captain's barge!

Thanks for the compliments. Yes they are all playmo parts with no painting involved. It may look like it from the flash of the camera. I'm still not very good with it.
Hoping to have a ship for them soon.

Excellent customs, Grant ...
It looks like you used the upper part of the Pirate Captain from set 3791 (see illustration) for the jacket and the lower part of the Pirate Navigator from set 4654 for the trousers (see illustration). It also looks like you used the cuffs and tie from the Navigator as well.
The hat appears to have come from the crew of the schooner from set 3055. Click HERE (https://gardenwargaming.com/pirates/art.html) for more illustrations.
I think that you have done a super job of combining original Playmobil parts to create a very convincing British crew.
Some of the parts that you used are more than fifteen years old. How were you able to find them?
Wonderful customs, Grant! Thanks for sharing.
All the best,
Richard

Thanks for the compliments Richard. All of the old parts were obtained from Ebay. The sailor's hats were actually obtained from direct service.

great sailors grant! i really like them! cant wait to see them "in action"! ;D ;)
-
Thanks Flash. I'm still trying to figure out what kind of ship to get and would like to make custom sails for it.
-

Yes, i'm sure it is Gaius. Especially since i have minimal skill when it comes to customizing. So some definite research will have to be done. ???
