They did not use this weapon throughout the acw and so it is no wonder that they did not make it into a movie or are not readily recognizable if they do so.

As you probably know, Playmobil has made a lance with a pennon that they've used for both the knights and the cavalry sets. The part number for the cavalry pennon is: 30 64 8260.

youre tempting me again with your mounted troopers   
and those Lego flags and lances 

i can feel the rush...you positioned the horses beautifully...their leader already looks great with his sideburns and gold epaulettes...

and your use of these old type horses really make me 'see' them... like their horses are readying(you know, that forward and backward motions when the riders are sort of holding them back) to take of..just waiting for the rush once their leader gives the signal   

and Richard, thanks for the revelation...i have one such 'flag' but i always thought it was a flag and not a lance(so its rounded off for safety sake?)

As cheng did I always considered it as a flag, too. I have chosen the poles because they are cheap (what is really cheap when collecting pm?), ds available and will be for there some time on, have a brown color, a 'modern' shape and fit perfect with the lego flags which are available in several different colors and patterns. I am afraid that cavalry pennon 30 64 8260 is no longer available and as I rarely have seen it (i have only a broken one) not easy to find especially in larger numbers.

And it can never be said too often that Heather's magnific playmodb is invaluable for our hobby.
