I tried to create a drummer from the Napoleonic Wars period.

Actually EsDoc inspired me to make the drumer. I gonna build up a hole regiment out of 10-12 soldiers.

Good idea Richard,

may I recruit them into my 2nd regt. of grenadiers à pied Gaius? ;)

Nice to see you building napoleonics too :D

When you're going to make an entire regt. how many figures will that be?

well I think 8 soldiers + 1 officier + 1 guy with the flag (dont know how he is called  ) + 1 drummer   btw: it seems as if everyone tries to create soldiers from the Napoleonic period. Is that some kind of a fashion :?:

Thanks for the extra pics! :D  Cool.

Why are so many people creating napoleonics?

They have the prettiest uniforms. :D

Looking forward to seeing your regiment!

Wow - another Napoleonic modeler, what's the world coming to?

Nice job Gaius, can't wait to see them all lined up in a neat little row so one cannon shot can take them all out! ;)

I love the flag, it`s got a real  `toysoldier´feel about it.

ok I finished my work now:

1 officer
1 drummer
1 flag
7 soldiers

Perhaps I will make a 8th soldier next week. The guns from de Warrens
inspired me and I painted them silver as well, it looks awesome! Im not sure wht I will customize in the next time. I think it will be either a Scottish soldier or some artillary men. Ok I talked to much  have a look:

A very nice group!  :)
It`s worth painting the muskets (I wasn`t the first to do it), it doesn`t take long and is very effective.

wow..your pictures are so huge...so much so that my PC has problem opening them...anyway i manged to see your last 2 photos...very nice!

i noticed tou painted the handles of your swords...i dont do that because sometimes i make them hold their swords...would you rather consider painting the sword sheaths?

your bayonets are also fitted at the tip of their rifles...i think thats more correct (i push my bayonets as far down as they go...somehow i preffer them that way...and they are not at the 6o'clock position as i was given to understand that the bayonet will interfere with the rods directly underneath the barrels)

its nice to compare notes with customisers like yourself...i'm still learning...so please advise me too if i'm wrong! :D
