Rules for Pirate Battles

Ahoy mates!

What better activity for your Playmobil pirates than blasting to bits those pesky Royal ships and troops? Here are some rules that can be adapted for Playmobil pirate battles. Enjoy!

The classic plastic pirates rules are "Evil Stevie's Pirate Game," written by Steve Jackson, who heads Steve Jackson Games, makes of GURPS, and back in the day - Car Wars, Ogre, Melee, etc... They need to be adapted for Playmobil, and I am working on an adaptation at the moment. When I have some spare time I will share what I've done.

Swashbuckler! is a set of rules for individual pirates in hand-to-hand combat. I've taken a look at the rules, but never used them.

Lastly, I'll share with you my own set of rules, which I developed to play with my kids. They are a work in progress. There are aspects of them that I am very happy with, and other things I don't like. Maybe, if you like them, we can polish them together and make them work. I present to you Island Wars!

Again, post your comments here, and don't forget to take pictures of your games - we'd love to see them!
