Playmobil Stores
« on: June 01, 2006, 02:59:20 AM »
Hey, I don't know if this topic has already been covered, but I was wondering if there are any good stores in the U.S. that have a good stock of Playmobil (I know toys stores that may sell a few various sets, but I haven't seen a store that is dedicated entirely to Playmobil)
And it can get pretty annoying waiting for stuff to arrive after ordering it online (and the shipping costs online aren't always the cheapest things either)
Long live playmobil, and its fans, knights and garden wargaming!!! Hoorah!!! Yea, thats all...

Hello, medievalman ...

There are only three stores in the United States that are totally dedicated to Playmobil.

Two are in Florida and one is in New Jersey. All three are owned and run by Playmobil.

There are no stores that I know of on the west coast that are totally dedicated to Playmobil.

And, this may be the reason that no one has answered you. Because, like me, they don't know how to help you either.

However, if you are close to a Target, you have an advantage over many other Playmobil collectors!

All the best,
Richard

Hi Medievalman,

Richard is correct about not many dedicated Playmobil stores in the land.

I go to Target,  Toys R Us,  a couple of educational toy stores, and a large hobby shop that has a very large stock of just about anything in Playmobil, plus the  add on stuff.    ( these are in the Phoenix Arizona area).

Happy hunting,

Jimbo

Hey, thanks...   :D Sorry that I was a little impatient in waiting for a reply... But, I do live close to a Target, and other toy stores, so I go there sometimes to see what they have in stock... But I guess for the most part I'll have to resort on ordering stuff online.  (I get a lot of it from ToyMine.com, it has a large stock including add ons with marked down prices)
If I ever go to Florida I'll check out those stores and I'll look around more to see if there's a local hobby store that has a good stock ;)

Thanks for your patient replies!
