It seems that to have fun playing little wars, one must be able to move the men easily.  "soldiers stand well on closely mown grass" is not exactly true as i see it.  I had great difficulty getting the infantry to stand outside.  I think one solution could be to cut little squares of indoor/outdoor carpet from Lowes or such stores.  These green squares could be used as figure stands for infantry.  They wouldn't stick out and the men would easily stand on them in groups of 4 or 6 or whatever.  Just an idea to ease outdoor play.

As the first one needs the condition plate II into these we centrically a 3 mm hole to bore must

Next the base plate from firm transparent material is cut.
I have from the Mueller market the wind wheel/mobile foil for Window Glass Color colors use
10 sheets 23x33 cm 0.4 mm PVC foil 6.29 euro Mueller number 218643/6 This in three equal parts of A 11x23 cm cut and to 12x 3mm of holes clean-bored. (several superimpose with adhesive tapes stick and bore at one time machts more easily)

Then 3 mm of countersunk screws from down passes through and from above with the suitable nut/mother strongly bolts.

FINISHED By the screws the condition plates remain movable and the regiment can use different formations. (2Bases A 12 men per regiment)

Is a dammed lie*.  They stand on flat surfaces and that's all.

I gave up with single figures on grass & used "squads" of 6 or more all fixed to a very thick card base (we call it "hardboard" in the UK) which worked but as for individual figures I didn't bother.
