Click HERE for several screen shots from the film. These screen shots aren't the best, but they might bring back a few memories ... ;)

;D I definitively need a spike for the topee. Fortunately pm  has the new theater sets out these days and so it will be ds available soon.

And yes, it is the film I know.

I'm sure that there are many of us here that are very happy to see the return of Playmobil's German pickelhaube. As I'm sure you remember, the "spike" was detachable.

The old "Bobbie" helmet (from the Playpeople days of Playmobil in England) has been pretty good for the English colonial helmet, but I'd love to see Playmobil make a proper one. Or, a least bring back the English "Bobbie" helmet.

thank you for the idea, stéphane. due to your hint i  "customized" a western rifle. the result is quite similar and fits also with the bayonet.
Maybe you did this already and I just missed it, but ¿could you do a much smaller scale pic? (Maybe even an oversized pic…) I’m really curious how you did this mod.
¡Thanx!

It is this rifle with the lever removed and this bayonett.
If it is still unclear I will post a picture.

The Devil's Own

88th Connaught Rangers. The pictures I saw were from the early 19th century but I guess they looked fairly the same until the time of the Crimea war.

new redcoats very nicely done Michael!
(have you tried putting the white sword belts from fat klikies over the cross belts? might sit better ;) )

btw, I really like the British marine(?) in white and blue! I bet you're making more of them too  ;)

A rare piece. The narrower belts fit quite well as long as they are kept in place by the arms.  :P

Same problem with the scarf and the wider sword belt, but after all we are collectors and do what we have to do.  ;D

Thank you all
