for the instance i have no photos, but i promise you to take some of, the next wargame.
I play with the rules of wargame: the lord of the ring
It is very complete, you have an archetype for all the unit, it's very fun.
there is just one difficulty, it's the moving, you must choice a good scale, same for the shoot.
We play with middle age playmo, or secession war playmo.
I leave in NICE, in FRANCE, near MONACO and CANNES, my son have 8 years, and he takes some pleasure to play with me, sometimes it's hard for him to remember all the details of all the unit......
I'm a role player game, and since a long time i was captivate by playmobil.
Now, it's more easy to buy, because i work, and i can satisfact my passion!
I have one question, why no one have made conversion about second
war?, is the subject forbidden?, or too hard to do?
I have finish my prose........at next time
(excuse me for my english.......and spanish

Hello Garvannec! Please do not apologize for your English. It is fine - on this board we hope to have people who speak many different languages, and we will all try to understand and communicate as best we can. Where there is a desire, we can make it work.

I have seen some very nice conversions of Second World War klickies on other boards. I think that using the modern police klickies as a starting point it would not be very difficult. Why don't you try, and show us your results?

Which Lord if the Rings rules do you use - the ones from Games Workshop?

(By the way - I too am a role player from a long time ago who now enjoys wargames and klicky conversions!)

hello,

yes the rules are of games workshop, you know, sensibily the same as warhammer, ok I don't play with elf or dwarf, or orc, but there is profil for human warrior, and for elite unit, we can take elf, dwarf, or orcish caracteristics......and what is funny, it's the table to climb, to swim or to ride horses.
next mission for me, when with my son we play is to send you photos, for conversion, i will try to draw it and after to convert it.
bye, and have a good day.
What time is it for you?, for me at the instance it is 9 and 20 on the morning......

Bon jour, garvannec ...

It is 8:15 in the morning here on Vancouver Island in beautiful British Columbia, Canada!

Have you tried the HG Wells 'Little Wars' rules yet with your son? They are very simple and lots of fun. You and your son might both enjoy these rules too.

We are all looking forward to seeing fotos of your wargames and Playmobil toy soldiers.

If you would like to create an avatar for the forum, please ask Yoyei how to make one.

All the best,

Hi garvannec,

You were asking about moden customs, and Work has been kind enough to post some on the Spanish forums here. This thread has some of his modern soldiers, and this thread shows some modern vehicles he found that work very well with Playmobil.

Hope this is what you were looking for!
