DD's Crusader Ship
« on: October 21, 2010, 04:33:56 PM »
Actually, it all started with he idea of building the Santa Maria. I guess with some extra work this ship can be turned into one of Columbus' ships, right  ;D

Especially the masts were challenging, until the Playmobil Pirate Dinghy, (4444) came out  8)

Some more pics... I needed to make holes into the deck and sharpen the lantern sticks to make them fit into the holes. I really like the lanterns  :)

The crew - part 2... You would suspect that the red guys are genuine Maltese knights, but they aren't  :P It's a replica made with own-made transfers/decals  ::)

The crew - part 4... Cleaning these white bodies, making them glance again, placing the decals and fixing took some time  :-\ But I like the result  ;D

WOW! I love your ship! ;D ;D ;D
And your crew members add to the scene marvelously! :o

Can we get another picture of the crossbowman in part 5? ???
I like the idea of the long tabbard you have on him,
But I would like to see more pics to get a better idea. :)

Seriously astonishing job! 8)
The ship is just too cool,
I love the 5736, It is my favorite. ;D
You can do so much with it! :)

Great job again!
