Hastings
« on: January 03, 2010, 06:58:41 PM »
A small 4-set series. The figures were on my shelf for a long time and I wanted to make stickers for the shields. But actually my interest shifted to a few colonial topics to be seen here soon, so they have to use original shields.

These look good.  Are any of these men intended to be Harold or William of Normandy?

I like how you approximated the mail shirts / hauberks / coats.

BEAUTIFUL work again Ralf ! (as always  ;) )
and putting together all those different parts and great choices/combinations...as always   ;D )

I think its a great and practical way replacing the  PLAYMOBIL' words on your boxes with your theme and including the number

your new boxes have not lost their beauty and maybe Geobra might wish to follow your colours someday  :D

Ralf, these are some wonderful Normans!  I think the shields look fine too.  All these customs look great, but I particularly like the black knight with his mount.  I also like these backgrounds better than the less colorful ones on your recent medieval civilian dress sets.

Wait a minute, Ralf.  You're missing the archers who shot Harold's eye out!

Well done - this time I also like the color combination (unlike in some of your Thirty War Series)

As I've said many times, Cheng ... Let's hope that Geobra follows Ralf's lead because there doesn't seem to be any "leaders" in Zirndorf's design staff.

Great theme, Ralf! ... ... ... ...

I really like these new customs, Ralf.  The new helmets are definitely a nice upgrade and now you've got some great looking archers and Saxons.  Well done! :)
