Justforklicks Update Dragoons.

Click the picture below and follow the link in "De Warrens' World"...

These were made some time ago. I can tell by the old musketeer heads  used.  :)

The first one of this series has been on show at Garden Wargaming for some time.

I would have liked to call these Seven Year War figures, but then someone would point out that Prussian  dragoons didn`t have buglers at the time. So we`ve written `at the time of Old Fritz..

Of course those historical facts didn't bother us at all at Garden Wargaming ... We called it the Seven Years War anyhow ...

So take a peek at Just for Klicks and at Garden Wargaming to see even more of David's beautiful work!

David - a question. Any chance of a tutorial on how you modified the horse? My daughter just saw the picture at the top of the thread and wants me to make her one! (See what you did! ;))

Oh no! Henry, does your daughter realise that the horses have stands?
That makes them less than ideal for children playing.
Adults could push them around a wargame table, I guess. ;-)

Actually David, my daughter is much more careful with her Playmobil than I am! She doesn't play with them very roughly at all, she sets them up just so to make magnificent weddings and such.

It is my son and I that set them up, blow them up, throw them around, step on them, customize them, and otherwise abuse poor defenseless klickies! :D

That's a very good question, GaiusIulius!

When is a Playmobil klicky no longer a Playmobil klicky?

Have we gone too far with our customizing?

Richard

hallo David,

i simply love your new addings at your site!!
I adore the moving horselegs!! how do you do it??my guess is that you break or cut the legs and remove parts of it.Then you attach it together with milliput and/or glue.Am i right, am I??!!

Please tell us how you did it?

Greatz

Hi Maximus,

Yes, that`s what I do. I remove the leg, bend it  and then replace it using a lot of Milliput.
Cap`n Henry wanted a tutorial on the subject, so the next time I make one I`ll take some photos for you both.
