very nice customs Sea Warrior!

don't worry about historical accuraccy for now (if youre short on resources)...just enjoy building your armies as and when you have time and money....slowly you'll have more and more soldiers and you can swop parts amongst them (this is what makes playmo so special) as you go along, following other customisers or discover new reference materials on the internet.

painting on the bicorn and the poppy(?) flower....very good! you'll get better as you go along...very very 'Napoleonic' as far as I'm concerned

i used to play playmobil, but i feel im a little too old for that, so now, i just put up more shelves in my room for more display, what i want to know is after you make a custom, ecspecialy cheng, do you keep it? And how much do you spend on playmobil a year? i like what esdoc and such do, but i think when you do customizing like that, it loses its playmoish feel, im going to try to make molds and casts again, and my figures can be more delicate because they won't be thrown accross the room, so i can paint and glue more stuff

I agree with Cheng.

I think that your customs look great, SW (and very, very Napoleonic).

All the best,
Richard

With those moustaches - they're Spanish no question!

Do I keep my playmobile figures - yes my "conversions" are in a glass cabinet in the dining room.  How much do I spend on Playmo?  Not a lot now 'cos I've three big tool boxes of klickies to work on and it's going to take me time to get through them.

But I do love painting and converting them and, if I can ever get my digital camera to work again, posting pics here.

oh yes SW, I customise and keep them displayed on my shelves....and if youre wondering how I have enough space, well, my earlier diorama shelves are slowly giving way to shoulder-to-shoulder armies and my customs for each 'army' is now limited to about 4 for each 'design'  :D ..so I try not to make mounted troops which take up space

spend? I try not to keep track or know (my father-in-law used to sleep in my playmo room and his usual advice was "i see youve more playmo now...i think its time to stop buying more  :P")
(please dont ask about insurance/any emergencies...touch wood  ;D )

for your info, EsDoc was my first sifu(master) for my Napoleoinic customs  :)
yes, I do try to make it a point that my customs still look playmo-ish/factory-finished and is 'repeatable' almost exactly....and can be still taken apart and put back(I do change/improve them from time-to-time)

I'm sure you'll enjoy playmo-customising for a long long time...do share/show here...we never get tired of looking, no matter what theme  :)
(but do make it a point to still have time for your non-playmo-life)
