These guys look good and have a lot of application, both in a Japanese context and a Mongolian or Jurchen context.

I'm a little sketchy about over-using the Fu Manchu mustache for Japanese samurai.  You'd be fine, even, with round eyes for Japanese.

Am hoping that the inevitable Playmobil theme creates a new headpiece--the topknot with bald forehead!

really nice horde Amd !
(I too dont adhere too strictly to historical accuraccy as long as it looks like what Geobra would produce for kids...please carry on! )

and Tim..we're quite like-minded on your 3 points;
1) will pass as a dismounted Mongolian horde at first glance
2) Fu Man Chu mustache were not worn by ancient Japanese (but of course in Playmoland...like slitty eyes...its the Asian-association)
3) been waiting for just simple plain Bald heads...would wishing for top knots be too much?  ;D
