Shaolin Monk... or something like that
« on: December 30, 2007, 08:08:56 PM »
Ok, so I look the magnificient "Terracota Warriors" thread by Cheng. As we all are waiting for more asian heads, I just "made myself" own asian heads by painting the eyes with my Citadel paints.

This model also has one of my bold heads. This one was the last I made without my Dremel, so it´s not as good as others I´ve made later. Arms were for a Space:1999 custom in progress, but I got one of this ancient beards and I could resist  ;D legs are made of resin, and I see in the pics with tthis light skin tone isn´t correct  :(

Another use for bold heads  ;D I just put some wet paper inside the head, and then some milliput to cover it. Later, i use the dremel and some sandpaper et voilá!  ::)

what beautiful customs, Clickezno!
every figure deserves its own new thread really...

your Mr.T is a fantastic replica and his eyebrows and mohawk hairdo and his adidas shoes are just incredible!! I thought you were much younger(before seeing that you do know Mr.T)

your Avatar-figure of course is beautiful too...i should think you have a team of those foghter-pilots already on your shelves

your 'classic-styled' pilot is beautiful too...hopefully PM will make that kind of riding-pants someday for their 'Barns-Horse-Riding' themes

and i say again here that your Shaolin monk's head is just beautiful.....i didnt notice you built hp his sleeves...

with resins....my asian themes would explode really...i do hope for baggy sleeves and pants this year from PM...maybe a bald head...feet with sandals...hopefully PM will come out with new arms/shoulders with armor that can be used for ancient asian warriors...thats a lot of wishes for 2008..

and HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone!!  :D

I´m old enough to remember A-Team  ;D I´m from 1971, just ready to get these little clicks as they arrived to Spain  ::)

I made another copy of my avatar to ride my customized quad. In fact, I made it as Luke X-wing pilot and later made the Biggs one, but I felt more conected to the secondary character than to the main one, always losing hands and having family disfunctions (Biggs only die in the films  :P ;D ).

I didn´t  know every custom should go in a different thread, sorry. I´ll open then later if I can, everone of them have been posted in the playclicks forums, so I´ll post them here to those the rest of the world. In fact, I think the Shaolin Monk is first time seen here than in the spanish forum!  ;)

wonderful figures! very nice customs, the bold head work is magnificent! ;D
I left my love a letter in the hollar of a tree.
I told her she would find me in the U.S. Cavalry.
High, yo, down they go, there's no such word as can't.
We'll ride clean down to hell and back for Ulysses Simpson Grant.

oh no...you are definitely most welcome to post all your creations in one 'composite' thread....if it wont be confusing when enthusiasts like me start to ask too many questions about each of your different customs....
(so that's what i meant when i said "every figure deserves its own new thread really...")  ;)
