taking apart?

I got a question which seems perhaps to e easy to most of u, but I didnt get the "miracle" yet.  :oops:  How can I take playmobil figures apart? Is there perhaps somewhere something like a manual to help me?

Until the playmo convention in Wolfsburg in June I used the "pull it's head out" method. But on the convention I purchased a tool from gassy which I think is commonly called "gassy's gizmo" :wink:

It really works very good for the new klickies and therefore replaced my old method almost completely.

Please tell us all about "Gassy's Gizmo" ...

I think everyone is always interested in knowing about different (and better) methods to disassemble their Klickys ...

This tool is cast from epoxy and thus got mass produced. I purchased one from gassy in Wolfsburg. Actually, I purchased the last one I think. It became very popular there

Here is an outline I made for a speech i made on how to take apart a klicky.  HTH

II. Body
A. Supplies
1. Small driver w/ blade approx. 5mm across
2. Playmobil hair
3. New legs
4. New Hat
5. Flat surface

Procedure

6. Get an adult figure, or klicky, and lay its back on your desk
7. Turn head to the left side
8. Put hands over its head
9. Insert the blade of your screwdriver vertically between the side of the legs of the figure and the white chassis part
10. Do this quite firmly, until you meet resistance
11. Then twist the screwdriver a quarter turn anti-clockwise, Legs should come out quite easily
12. To replace legs, you just have to hook one of the leg knobbles that act as pivot points back into the chassis, and gently push the other one in too
13. It helps if you do this with the Klicky lying flat on the desk.
14. Hold klicky in your hand
15. Turn its head so it’s looking straight out
16. Take thumb and push up on its hair
17. Make sure head is still straight
18. Place the beard into little indents on the side of his head
19. Take new hair and place it on its head
20. Push down on the hair until it snaps
21. Choose hat
22. Place it in desirable position
23. Push down on hair until it won’t go anymore

III. Conclusion
24. When doing it for your first time, always use an old figure.
25. Use a very small screw driver
26. Be creative
