i know robin & co did not exist but they we very real for me   
i was devastated when i (teenage days  ) read one version where Robin died in the end...i still dont accept that   

were those brown jester-like hats(those with upturned 'cut' leather) appropriate for the period?

Your Robin Hood and his Merrymen are MAGNIFICENT !!!

I like your last photo (robin-RR2.JPG) the best ...

And, who says that Robin of Locksley never existed? (Probably the same naysayer who says that there's no Santa Claus.) What a sad life such a person must lead ... No rainbows, no tooth fairies, no dreams and no fun. But, we believe! Three cheers for Robin Hood, Maid Marian, Friar Tuck, Little John, Alan-a-Dale and all the Merrymen! And, three cheers for Cheng for creating such a great group in Playmobil!

Great figures and although Robin Hood probably didnt exsist in the version that we know today.  He was probably romantasised by the Victorians. There are various stories and folk lore of one or several figures that have probably been blended together over the years.  And if Errol Flynn played him thats good enough for me  Regards Edwinmodels

They all look like they belong together because of the similar colours in their tunics, collars and accessories, and yet they all still differ enough from one another for them to feel like individual characters, rather than clones.

The fellow with the long yellow hair and beard (beside Maid Marian) is making me laugh because his 'wig' looks like it's trying to escape! I've noticed that certain hair pieces don't fit well with beards, and I'm guessing that is one of them.

Where does that piece of landscape with the tree stump come from?
I can see it's not Playmobil, but it looks surprisingly similar. Come to think of it... I spotted some unusual palm trees in your African Corps photos that I was meaning to ask you about also....

that's John Little,
he's the hardest to assemble because he's supposed to be a much bigger sized man than the rest....so i had to put him through a bone-enlongating process     stretching him by his hair

my tree-stump and some of the other non-PM trees are confiscated toys from my kids' McD meals...some of McD's toys are of high quality
